ABOUT THE TRIP:
This is undoubtedly one of the most traveled tourist routes by motorcycle in the world. Leaving Lima we head south along National Route 1 towards Paracas, Huacachina, Nazca where we will make a mandatory stop to see the famous Nazca lines, and then continue along the Arequipa-Puno route. At this border point with Bolivia, we border Lake Titicaca and then climb north again towards Cusco.

When we arrive in Cusco we have several cultural and recreational activities planned, we will get a taste of local gastronomy. Knowing more about this culture and its legendary origin is an enriching experience.

Inca legend of the origin of the Cuzco valley.

According to the legend the waters of Lake Titicaca (between Peru and Bolivia), Manco Cápac, and Mama Ocllo were god and father, they arose by order of the Sun in order to find a place to found the Empire of the Incas and civilize the human. Manco Cápac received from his father, the Sun, a golden staff, which should be nailed by the different territories that they were going to transit, and where it sank would be the place where the capital of the new empire was founded. After a long search in a northwesterly direction, they reached the slopes of the Huanacaure hill, in that place the goldenrod sank and it was there that they founded the city of Cusco, which would be the capital of Tahuantinsuyo. Thus, the predominance of the tribes of Quechua origin, to which the founders belonged, was imposed over the Aymara who until then had dominated the Valley of Cusco. In this magical place, we will stay for one night in a hotel that will meet and exceed all your expectations!

From the Cusco valley, we will travel 235km to Machupicchu, an Inca city of impressive architecture and incredible Andean landscapes. We will stay 1 night in this iconic place in Peru and then return by the same route via Cusco to Lima, where we will stay 1 night to start our return to Quito by the same route that we used on the initial trip.
